Holiday Celebrations The Lodge at Torrey Pines

There’s no place like San Diego for the holidays, where guests can warm up to bright sunny days, uncrowded beaches, and inviting accommodations that feel like home away from home. The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla is the perfect coastal retreat to soak in the season and make some merry memories.

Winter Wonderlands
The warm and welcoming timbered design of The Lodge at Torrey Pines makes for a magical winter getaway. Upon entering the lobby, guests are transported to a holiday wonderland complete with a towering Christmas tree in the lobby adorned with pinecones, manzanita branches, woodland owls and tartan plaid reindeer, an ornate Hanukkah menorah display, gorgeous garlands draped upon the mantel, and the scent of white cedar crackling in the fireplace.

Joyful Tunes
Guests can enjoy the merry melodies of the Westminster Carolers, December 6-7, 12-14, 19-21 (5-8 p.m.) while savoring mulled cider and sweet holiday treats.

Mingle with Kris Kringle
Throughout the season, Santa’s Letter Stations will be set up in the lobby, complete with a festive oversized mailbox, so children can send Santa their wish lists and good deeds for the year.

Kids’ Stuff
Children can tap into their creative side with Gingerbread House on December 7, 14, 16 and 21.

Holiday Feasts and Treats
Gather with family and friends for lavish holiday feasts, including a Chimney Roasted Prime Rib Dinner on December 5, 12, 19 and 26. Executive Chef Kelli Crosson and Chef de Cuisine Ryan Dzierzawski will also present special 3-course prix fixe dinner menus crafted from seasonal ingredients for Christmas Eve (5-10 p.m.) and Christmas Day (11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.).
