“There’s no reason you should have to wait three to five days to get your pet seen when they’re visibly uncomfortable,” says Volk. “By registering in the clinic or online, you can view the current availability and how many, if any, clients are ahead of you so you know right when you can be seen so there’s no wait time.”
This kind of flexibility is rare in the veterinary world, where scheduling bottlenecks and high demand often create frustrating delays. But for the Volks, convenience never comes at the expense of care.

At the helm of PetWellClinic’s medical team is Dr. Leslie Gentry, a highly experienced veterinarian with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University and an MBA from Colorado State. Dr. Gentry’s background spans private practice, shelter medicine and leadership in the veterinary industry, making her the ideal partner for a clinic that strives to balance clinical excellence with accessibility where Scott says she “brings not only expertise but a deep passion for making veterinary care more approachable.”
While the Volks themselves come from a background in clinical research – on the human health side – their shift into veterinary care was fueled by a love for animals and a desire to contribute something meaningful to their community.
“We may be new to the industry, but our motivation is simple,” he says. “We love pets, and we want to give back by providing the best, most convenient, and comforting service to the people in our community.”
