“Love what you do and the money will follow.” This is the common mantra shared by scores of successful business owners I’ve interviewed over the course of my 20+ years publishing career. In chatting with Tiffany Tovar, it’s clear the owner of the Huntington Beach-based Elegant Esthetics has charted a similar path to success albeit via an unexpected route. Initially intending to pursue a career in lash extensions, Tiffany learned that becoming a licensed esthetician was a prerequisite. Once she started school, she quickly discovered that skin health and the transformative power of professional skincare was her true calling.
“During my training, I became deeply fascinated with facial treatments, customized skincare routines and the science behind healthy, radiant skin,” she says. “My dedication to the industry led me to complete a certification in oncology esthetics, allowing me to provide specialized care for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. My goal has always been to help people feel confident and bring a sense of joy back into their lives through skincare.”
Since opening her salon in December 2023, Tiffany has earned a reputation for helping clients feel more confident in their natural beauty, achieving flawless, healthy skin so they can go makeup free if they desire.
