The 2018 Australian Pink Floyd Show Tour is a celebration of Pink Floyd's iconic musical heritage & stage shows. 30 years of dedication have gone into perfecting the craft of honoring Pink Floyd, the 2018 tour is the culmination of all those years & thousands of shows. The set list will represent the best of Pink Floyd’s music from every era of the band’s history in our most spectacular show featuring state of the art lighting, sound, lasers & inflatables.

Arts + Science = Family Fun at the first Beckman Arts and Science Family Festival coming to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. FREE entertainment, hands-on activities for the curious of all ages, fascinating and informative exhibits plus imagination-expanding workshops will fill the day from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Guests will be enthralled by the incomparable Doktor Kaboom!, Aman Dance, Phantom Projects Theatre Group, Dino Encounters and The MoonRays. And the Center’s own over-sized creative building kits will inspire and challenge budding architects and engineers. All activities combine elements of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). This day of discovery, experimentation and fun is made possible through the Center’s partnership with the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation.

BEAUTIFUL – THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL tells the inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music – she wrote the soundtrack to a generation. Featuring a stunning array of beloved songs written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, including “I Feel The Earth Move,” “One Fine Day,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “You’ve Got A Friend” and the title song, BEAUTIFUL has a book by and Tony® Award nominee and Academy® Award-nominated writer Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni, choreography by Josh Prince.
